Marfan Europe Network has two new members

The Coordinating Commitee of Marfan Europe Network is happy to announce that the marfan patients associations Marfan Trust (UK) and Den-i (Luxembourg) are now official members of MEN!

We are very happy to include UK and Luxembourg to our network which now has 15 members from 14 different countries.

Marfan Trust, the Marfan association from UK, was founded thirty years ago in 1989 and one association of the UK (now merged with Marfan Trust) was a founding member of MEN (aka EMSN). Marfan Trust is highly motivated to provide research, education and support to their 2200 supporters throughout the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and also Ireland). The application of Marfan Trust to MEN was unanimously accepted by all voting members.

Den-i, the Luxembourg Marfan association, is a very energetic association which was founded in 2006. As a small Marfan Association they depend a lot on the connections in European and International networks. So they were looking forward in joining MEN. Their application too was unanimously accepted by all voting members.
