September 19th is Aortic Dissection Awareness Day
Last year a Swedish group of patients suffering from aortic dissection and closely related diseases and disorders has announced September 19th to be the international “Aortic Disease Awareness Day” in order to raise awareness for a widely unknown, but life-threatening disorder. Many hospital heart centres in different countries have participated in the event by offering information and presentations for patients, their families, doctors and other interested persons.
This year again many heart centres will provide information regarding the basis as well as new developments in prophylaxis, diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases. For more details please refer to the following video:

All presentations are related to Aortic Diseases – and many of them present amazing solutions developed in great hospitals around the world.
